நூல்உலகம் — The World of Books — was born from a simple belief: every Tamil reader deserves easy, affordable access to books in their mother tongue.
We started in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, as a small physical bookshop with a carefully chosen collection of Tamil classics and contemporary titles. Word spread. Readers from neighbouring towns would make the trip just to browse our shelves. That told us something: the hunger for Tamil books was real, and geography shouldn't limit it.
In 2024 we brought the shop online, making our entire inventory — spanning literature, history, science, children's books, and award-winning fiction — available to anyone with a shipping address. Today we stock over 50,000 titles and ship worldwide.
Our team is small, passionate, and Tamil at heart. We read the books we sell. We argue about them over tea. And we genuinely believe that a good Tamil book, delivered to your door, can change your day.
